Higher Whitley Barn Conversion Decorated

Take for example a project the Knutsford Decorator completed in Higher Whitley, where the customer had recently had a brand new engineered wooden floor installed in their converted barn.

Whilst we always take the upmost care with all customer’s flooring, we had to be extra careful with this floor. It had recently been fitted and was quite ‘soft’ as it was still curing but we needed to erect heavy scaffolding on to the floor in order to reach the high ceiling in order to decorate it.

We completely covered the whole floor with xboard and used sheets of plywood to spread the weight. We were then able to erect the scaffolding on the floor and using it we were then able to paint the ceilings in Tikurilla Anti Reflex White.

The customer had chosen Dulux for us to use, which isn’t a brand we particularly like using and after our recommendation, they thankfully decided to use Benjamin Moore paints in subsequent rooms. With our years of experience and use of a range of different brands of paint, we know the best products that are available to match your requirements and give a quality finish

As always, we brushed Benjamin Moore on the woodwork and sprayed a dressing table in the satin finish giving it a new lease of life.
